STAINLESS STEEL AISI 316L

AISI 316L STAINLESS STEEL IS AN AUSTENITIC ALLOY. ITS DIFFERENCE FROM OTHERS STAINLESS STEEL ALLOYS IS THE HIGH PERCENTAGE OF MOLYBDENUM WHICH GUARANTEES A SPECIAL RESISTANCE TO CORROSION AND WEATHERING. THE HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF NICKEL ALSO GUARANTEES GREATER STABILITY. THE LETTER “L” INDICATES A LOW CARBON CONTENT THAT REDUCES THE RISK OF CORROSION FOLLOWING THE WELDING PROCESS.
