PROGRAMMA 400-HR

The main purpose of spaces designed by inclusive architecture is to focus on people who move within their bounds. A space is alive if designed to tear down barriers by welcoming everyone. Making spaces inclusive and accessible to everyone with their different abilities, is the aim of the 400-HR (Design for All 4HR) Program. The suggested shapes and materials are designed to offer not only several aesthetic solutions, but also various tactile and chromatic feelings, because inclusiveness is also achieved through a careful choice of details.

POLYAMIDE 6

Polyamide 6 is a thermoplastic resin with high mechanical resistance, excellent toughness to impacts and high resistance to wear and abrasion. Classified as a self-extinguishing UL 94V-2 category, polyamide 6 does not generate toxic gases, is a safe, hardly deformable and durable material.

LRV - LIGHT REFLECTANCE VALUE

LRV is based on a scale of 0:100: 0, which is a perfectly absorbing surface that could be assumed to be totally black, and 100, which is a perfectly reflective surface that could be considered to be the perfect white. The visual contrast is given as a difference in LRV between two surfaces. The perceptible information principles of the universal design state that the design has to communicate information effectively regardless of the environment conditions.

CYTOTOXICITY TEST

Testing the Cytotoxicity according to the DIN EN ISO 10993-5, 1999-11: only minimal cytotoxic compounds were extracted at 37°C. The extract of the test material reduced the cell growth to 80,97% of control. This is not statistically significant. Using the test material as described by the manufacturer no cytotoxic effects should be expected.

STAINLESS STEEL AISI 316L

AISI 316L stainless steel is an austenitic alloy. Its difference from other stainless steel alloys is the high percentage of molybdenum which guarantees a special resistance to corrosion and weathering. The higher percentage of nickel also guarantees greater stability. The letter “L” indicates a low carbon content that reduces the risk of corrosion following the welding process.

WOOD HANDRAILS

All models are available in clear coated beech; oak or ash on request.

DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS

Programma 400-HR handrails are available for level, inclined and curved configurations.

PBA PRODUCTS CONTRIBUTE TO LEED CREDITS

400-HR products are made of fully recyclable polyamide-6, aluminum and stainless steel.

RECYCLE

Polyamide-6 and metal components are completely separable for recycle.
